HALLOWEEN A TRADITIONAL FESTIVAL IN UK AND THE USA. NOW IN SPAIN

 

FROM THE BILINGUAL SECTION AND THE ENGLISH DEPARTMENT, WE HAVE CELEBRATED HALLOWEEN AS PART OF THE TRADITIONS OF ENGLISH-SPEAKING COUNTRIES.

IN CLASS, WE HAVE WORKED ON THE ORIGIN OF THIS TRADITION WITH THE COLLABORATION OF DANNY, THE LANGUAGE ASSISTANT. A COMPARATIVE PRESENTATION OF OUR TRADITION OF "LOS TOSANTOS" HAS ALSO BEEN MADE BY THE BILINGUAL SECTION OF THE SCHOOL.

A SCARY PHOTO CONTEST HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED, WITH THE FOLLOWING RULES.

DESDE LA SECCIÓN BILINGÜE Y ÁREA DE INGLÉS HEMOS CELEBRADO HALLOWEEN, COMO PARTE DE LAS TRADICIONES DE LOS PAÍSES ANGLOPARLANTES.

EN CLASE SE HA TRABAJADO EL ORIGEN DE ESTA TRADICIÓN CON LA COLABORACIÓN DE DANNY, LA AUXILIAR DE CONVERSACIÓN. TAMBIÉN SE HA HECHO UNA PRESENTACIÓN COMPARATIVA DE NUESTRA TRADICIÓN DE "LOS TOSANTOS" DESDE LA SECCIÓN BILINGÜE DEL CENTRO.

SE HA CONVOCADO UN CONCURSO DE FOTOS DE MIEDO, CON LAS SIGUIENTES BASES.

The youngest students enjoyed storytelling sessions led by the English teacher María Dolores, which delighted the children. 

Los más pequeños disfrutaron de cuentacuentos a manos del amaestra de inglés María Dolores, que hizo la delicia del alumnado.

¡Bienvenidos de nuevo a un nuevo curso escolar!

¡Estamos muy contentos de dar la bienvenida a todos nuestros alumnos, familias y personal al inicio de un nuevo curso escolar! El equipo de la Sección Bilingüe espera un año lleno de aprendizaje, diversión y nuevas experiencias. Hagamos que este año sea memorable juntos, lleno de curiosidad, creatividad y éxito.

ELECTRIC CIRCUITS

 

To start the second term we have put an electric circuit on a model that each one has chosen.

                                                            They have turned out so cool!

Para empezar el segundo trimestre hemos puesto un circuito eléctrico a una maqueta que cada uno ha elegido.

¡Así de chulas nos han quedado!

Así de contentos estamos nosotros después de un buen trabajo.

OUR PROYECTS

 The sixth graders worked on our projects on the systems responsible for nutrition: the digestive, circulatory, respiratory and excretory systems. We prepared our work in class and in groups, and we gave a great presentation. Excellent!

Los de sexto curso trabajamos en nuestros trabajos de los sistemas encargados de la nutrición: el aparato digestivo, circulatorio, respiratorio y excretos. Hemos preparado nuestros trabajos en clase  y en grupo, y hemos hecho una gran exposición. ¡Excelente!

WE SANG AND DANCED SOME HALLOWEEN SONGS

 The older kids at school sang and danced songs to the younger ones on Halloween. We all had a great time and learned that together, with teamwork, we can do extraordinary things.

Los más mayores del colegio cantaron y bailaron canciones al alumnado de infantil y primer ciclo de primaria, en Halloween. Todos nos lo pasamos genial y aprendimos que juntos, con trabajo en equipo, hacemos cosas extraordinarias.
