PEACE DAY 2015


Next Friday  on 30th January we celabrate in our school speccifically in the sports school, the Day of Peace and Non Violence.
Entre otros momentos del acto, destacaremos el cántico unido de toda la Comunidad Educativa del Centro, de la canción LIGHT A CANDLE FOR PEACE...que se está trabajando y preparando con nuestros alumnos desde la clases de Inglés.Acompañan a la canción un conjunto de gestos descriptivos de su significado,a modo de coreografía, los cuales se están ensayando todos los días al igual que  el texto de la canción.

  • Writing a dictation while listening the song on your computer or radio tape.
  • Read the song with correct entonation.

  • Illustrate the song, with allusive drawings.
  • Listen and compare  english version and spanish version of the song: LIGTH A CANDLE FOR PEACE/UNA VELA POR LA PAZ

  • Rebuild the song, once learned , presented with disorderly sentences
  • Complete the song with missing words.
  • Rewrite the song again, changing pictures for the correct words:

 



  •  Find some information about the singer of the song , nationality and background in small groups and the make an explanation of this information in class.
  • Colour this picture about the song and paste the Peace Pigeon on the picture:cut the candle flame to put behind cellophane, write the name at the top and  colour the message.
